Coworking Spaces for Remote Work

Surprisingly there are no dedicated coworking spaces, but there are a ton of cafes with reliable internetwhere you can sit and use the WiFi. Our top choices are Kibayo, Vagamundo, El Cocotazo Cafe, and Fresh fresh.

Most accommodations will also have reliable internet and of course, you can consider getting a portable Wi-Fi device or purchasing a local SIM card with a data plan. We use Airalo for our e-sim needs wherever we travel.

Activities for No Wind Days

  • Explore El Choco National Park (Las Cuevas de Cabarete): Hike through lush forests, explore caves, and discover hidden waterfalls in this stunning national park. Only 40 minutes by foot from Kite Beach or a 7 minute drive, you'll need a guide to explore but it's totally worth it.
