About Us

Hola amigos! We're Andrea & Matthieu, an Indonesian-American and French couple who met on the Overland Trek in Tasmania, Australia, fell in love, and then stupidily decided to stay together, despite all the bureaucratic difficulties of being from different countries.

Our relationship has survived one global pandemic and over seven years of traveling the world together - which includes living in a van in Australia, sailing around the Mediterranean, and crossing various countries on a scooter. Throughout those years, we went from carrying one 70 liter bag each to now lugging around two 32kg kite bags loaded with our kite equipment + camera gear.

In real life, Andrea is a digital marketer with over 13+ years of experience while Matthieu works in logistics. He's also an IKO certified kite instructor so whenever we need a break from the grind or to escape the cold weather, Matthieu teaches kitesurfing while Andrea works remotely.

So far we've spent time kiting and living in Finistere, France; Cape Town, South Africa; La Ventana, Mexico; Limnos, Greece and Hua-Hin, Thailand. We're currently in Phan Rang, Vietnam.
